It's Our Sweet Beginning...

Oh hi everyone... I do still exist, I've just been away for a little while.. okay two months.

What happened? Well to be honest with you, life happened.  A lot of life happened from the end of March really when moving dates were being discussed and from then on it went a bit mental.

Needless to say we have bought a house!! And for the last month or so we've had no internet! So that's partly why I've been M.I.A, that and getting used to the new surroundings. It dawned on me when we moved in that I didn't really know where I'd moved to. I relied religiously on the sat nav to get me to work my first week but since then I have a rough idea of where abouts I am and how to get to places!

We've also have a sh*t tonne of visitor since we've been here so time has been limited to be a blogging socialite. But anyway what I'm trying to say is I'm back and hoping to get back in the loop with everything!

I'm hoping to do some home style and DIY posts now we're in the new gaff so stay tuned for those and get back to vlogging too!

Where on earth have you been?

That's a bloody good question! Where have I been??

Well, I've been ill and it's been rather rubbish as I feel like March has slipped away far too quickly for my liking but I'm back and I'm raring to go with lots of posts and exciting things to share with you.

If you follow me on Instagram, I've been keeping up posting on there to satisfy my pretty picture needs and to compensate for my lack of blogging. Look! See!

And I did manage to pop up a pre-recorded video on my channel called Spring Small Collective Haul which you can click and watch below:

So that's where I've been basically! I'll be putting up a vlog and post on my trip to Suffolk next week which I hope you enjoy, plus there'll be some foodie posts coming up too.

Update and taking a break...

As the title states, I’m taking a little break from blogging and YouTube. I’ve decided to give myself the month off to re-charge my batteries and come back in September with fresh content. I adore blogging and making videos but recently I realised I’ve been posting two blog posts and 1-2 videos a week for 14 months solidly and I’m actually quite tired! Everyone deserves a little rest and I don’t want to get to the stage where I’m just churning out utter rubbish just to meet my own OCD deadlines or worse- crash and burn. 

If you follow me on social media, you’ll know I recently went to the amazing festival that is Secret Garden Party. I really wanted to get that up before this break but in order to do it justice I’m pushing it back to September so keep your eyes peeled for that one. I’m also heading to Summer in the City in August which I’m SO excited about and I’ll no doubt be vlogging it. How can I not vlog a YouTube event!? So this will also be up early September for you all.

Writing this feels like one of those awkward it's not you it's me break ups but I honestly just need some time to let my small brain rest! I even made an awkward YouTube video about it *cringes.*

I hope you understand and have an amazing rest of the summer. I shall see you in September with exciting autumnal stuffage.

Updated Room Tour

So today I thought I'd let you have a nosey around my bedroom. I personally love watching these videos a) because I'm nosey and b) they give me ideas and inspiration on storage and decor etc. I did my first ever room tour video back in 2012 which I've also linked down below in case you're interested. Quick update

Hey everyone, it's only 9 days until Christmas! Can you believe it!? I'm currently packing like a loon before flying off to America tomorrow for three weeks! I'm SO excited!!! And with my birthday 5 days away it gets better and better.

Anyway I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for subscribing to my blog and my youtbe channel this year- I really appreciate it. I blog and film as a hobby which I really enjoy and the fact that people read my posts and watch my videos is an added bonus which I'm really thankful for. I hoe you continue to watch and read in 2015. I've got lots of ideas in the making already and some exciting ideas too!

In the meantime I have some guest posts coming up between now and the New Year so keep your eyes peeled for those and I hope you enjoy them.

A quick update

Hello lovelies,

Just thought I'd fill you in with what's happening basically! Tomorrow I fly back to the UK and to say I'm excited is an understatement... I CAN'T BLOODY WAIT!! So I'm currently making sure I've got all my belongings and chilling with the hubby before my flight. It's time for a new chapter, away from Cyprus and around family and friends.

Also you may have noticed that Laydey Katabella has had a bit of a re-vamp in the past four weeks. I've been wanting to re-do my layout and blog page style for quite some time but felt I couldn't produce anything that would look right. After a bit of dabbling one afternoon I thought sod it lets go for it. Six hours later and a lot of tea I produced this and I'm really pleased with it! I'd been tempted to pay someone to make me a template as I thought it was out of my depth but I'm glad I didn't as I learnt some new things and really love what I've achieved. It's exactly what I was after. I hope you like it!

Anyway that's it really. I've scheduled some posts and videos for the first few weeks of moving back as I'm not sure what I'll be doing and things are going to be a bit hectic so bare with me. Thank you everyone for your support of my blog and youtube channel, I really appreciate it!

Flying home to the UK and our big day!

Hello you lovely lot!

Tomorrow Chris and I are flying back to the UK for our wedding! Yippee!! I'm so bloody excited! All of our hard work and preparation will finally be revealed and we'll be spending the best day of our lives with all the people we love. We're also going to the Secret Garden Party which quite frankly is the best festival ever and it'll be my sixth year running attending this four day party.

So with this all in mind I thought I'd let you know that I have planned uploads and posts heading your way so don't panic if you thought I'd be going off the radar. Keep an eye out for our first wedding vlog which is due to go up Tuesday 22nd July. There'll be a couple more of these and I'm hoping they'll give brides to be ideas and for anyone that's generally interested in our wedding you can see all the prep we did.

Little update...

Hello everyone, I'm aware I've not blogged properly for ages and really missing it, sorry for my absence! However I have moved broad to Cyprus which is quite life changing for a start and still waiting on the majority of my things to arrive! I'm currently living out of a suitcase (overflowing may I just add)  but hoping I can do a few outfit posts in the coming week. Eventually I will get some sort of routine to life and I can go from there! 

Obviously my outfit posts won't be overly wintry for a long while as it's still 27 degrees out here and only gets down to about 15 degrees but they may be good for fellow people abroad or for uk people going on a winter holiday! Anyway I hope you are all well, speak soon!

It's been too long!

Aloha, been a while huh? Just a quick update for you! I've been super super busy with exams the past month so blogging and YouTube kinda got put on the back burner! I've got a week off this week though so planning to jump start the blogging again! I have a few interesting posts in the pipeline so watch this space! The Boyfriend Tag & Giveaway reminder

I've ummed and arred about whether or not to do the Boyfriend TAG video on YouTube for a while but a few weeks ago me and the fella finally filmed it. I'm quite pleased with the way it came out and he's quite good on camera I must say! If you wanna check it out, click below ^_^

We're also going to do a vlog soon! We're off to Barcelona next Tuesday for a few days and thought it'd be fun to film our trip, so stay tuned for that if you're interested!
