Summer Look Book 2015

WARNING: This post is seriously photo heavy!

... But it's a look book- what did you expect?

Anyway welcome to my summer 2015 look book! These are outfits I'm loving for this summer and recently wore on my holibobs to Tunisia. There are four looks featured below:

Look 1

Culotte jumpsuit- New Look
Clutch- Ark
Necklace- gift

I am OBSESSED with this jumpsuit. Up until now I've never found a playsuit or jumpsuit that actually flatters my figure. They always seem to ride up in the wrong places #cameltoe or gather in the wrong places (making me look pregnant- nice), however this one is a dream with its boned upper half and flowing culottes. Very flattering for us curvy ladies. As for the shoes they're a really old pair but I adore them and think the pop touch of green from the clutch and the shoes really add to this otherwise black ensemble.

Clutch- Ark
Necklace- Primark
Bracelets- various

This swing dress is so versatile and so easy to wear. Dress it up with strappy heels or wear it casually with a leather jacket and boots- it's a dream. As I've mentioned in many a video and post these heels were an absolute steal at £14.99 from ebay!

Look 3

Dress- H&M
Kimono- New Look
Necklace- Prairie Charms
Shoes- Primark
Bracelets- Various

I love how well this necklace and kimono pair together. Kimonos are big again this summer and easy to chuck on over a dress or cami and jeans for those chillier nights.

Look 4

Top- H&M
Skirt- H&M
Necklace- Primark
Bracelets- various

You can't go wrong with a simple bandeau and skater skirt. I've had this outfit for a good while but it still looks nice so why not? The Viv sandals I've lived and died in for almost four years now and they're still going strong!

So that is my summer look book. What do you think and what are you wearing this summer?

Clutch- ARK Cambridge (similar here)

I've worn this get up to a couple of things now, both times revolving around cocktails (I can see a pattern occuring.)

This vibrant and colourful ASOS jacket adds a "pop" of colour to an otherwise black outfit and is an easy way to add some spring vibes. It's a really easy outfit to wear with my bargain heels adding a little somethin' somethin'. Just £14.99 those bad boys cost and surprisingly they're really easy to walk in! I can see me grabbing a nude pair for the summer soon!

So I guess this is my cocktail outfit now. What do you wear when  you go for cocktails?

The Swing Dress Styling

Hello lovely people! It's been too long since I did a post, I've missed blogging so much! My reasoning for being MIA is due to guests staying and we have a couple more coming the end of the week for two weeks!

Today's post is on this ASOS swing dress (buy here) which I am absolutely in love with. It's sucha versatile piece so I thought I'd show you two ways I would style it..

Look 1- Evening

Shoes- New Look
Dress- ASOS
Rings- H&M
Bracelet- gift
Necklace- Fiona Jones Jewellery
Bag- Primark
Anklet- Thomas Sabo

When this dress arrived I was surprised that it was cotton, as on the website it didn't look it. Yes I should have read what material it was but hey ho, regardless I still think it can be worn of an evening. A simple clutch bag and heels instantly give it a sophisticated look, paired with some simple jewellery.

Look 2- Festival Chic

Boots- New Look
Dress (as before)
Headband- Umberto Giannini
Bracelets & Ring- H&M

This is something I imagine to wear to somewhere like Coachella (I can dream), as a chic festival outfit. Something a bit more understated than the usual floral head pieces and tiny tiny shorts. The tassle boots and headband instantly give this piece look bohemian feel and the fabric really lends itself to the casual style in this look.

Although this dress is pretty baggy and I have boobies, I think this dress is pretty flattering, especially for anybody with a good set of pins! How would you style it and are you loving swing dresses as much as I am?

Get Ready With Me | Winter Roses

I've been meaning to do an outfit post on this dress for quite some time. It's actually a spaghetti strap dress and kinda halter neck but as the days are getting windier (is that a word?) and cooler here in Cyprus, I decided to pop a tee underneath.

Dress- ASOS
Shoes- eBay
Tee- Tesco
Bracelets- home made & present

I'm having a really good hair day today for a change as I've finally had the brain wave to turn the heat setting down on my Remington pearl wand. As much as I love the curly glam look I do prefer relaxed waves so have asked for the enrapture totem styler for Christmas/ Birthday. Fingers crossed I get one ^_^. Anyway back to the outfit. I love swing dresses at the moment. They're so easy to wear and great for days when I'm feeling a bit bloated or just want to hide. Is that a thing or is it just me? The rose print isn't overly summery or wintry so its great for all seasons especially with it being so easy to layer. The boots were a bit of an impulse buy before I left the UK. I didn't have any black flat boots I could wear with bare legs so went for these bad boys. I love studs, adding to the grungy rock vibe I try to go for.

So that's my outfit! I've also done a "Get ready with me" video showing you how I did my fro and face as well as showing you my outfit. If you want to check out the video click below!

It's nearly Friiiiday, yippee!
