Falling for Autumn | Outfit of The Day

When autumn comes around, I'm filled with a hint of sadness that the long evenings and sunny days are over; however when I see the leaves changing and the autumn colours emerging, I can't help but fall for this time of year.

This dress is a Primark special. Having found smock dresses to be a big trend this year, I'm not quite ready to part with them. This £10 beauty could easily come across as Christmas attire but chuck on some tan with it and it becomes an autumnal dream that'll double up for festivities when the time comes. 

These New Look boots are oooold but as dishevelled as they are I'm still very much in love with them. As for my bag, this is a Cath Kidston number that Chris HATES, however I adore it. The slouchy style and velvet feel of the material screams A/W at me and is perfect for mooching about.

No autumn look is complete without a berry red lip and as always, I've got the Kate Moss for Rimmel shade 107 out.

So what are your colours for autumn wear? I've seen a few people donning orange trousers which look amazing but I'm not bold enough to try it out myself!!

Primark Haul

Whenever autumn comes around I feel Primark tugging at my purse strings, willing me to go and buy all the things and this year was no different. With it set to the the "coldest winter in 50 years" I though I best stock up on my winter woollies plus some other bits and bobs which I think you'll like. Summer Look Book 2015

WARNING: This post is seriously photo heavy!

... But it's a look book- what did you expect?


Anyway welcome to my summer 2015 look book! These are outfits I'm loving for this summer and recently wore on my holibobs to Tunisia. There are four looks featured below:

Look 1

Culotte jumpsuit- New Look

I am OBSESSED with this jumpsuit. Up until now I've never found a playsuit or jumpsuit that actually flatters my figure. They always seem to ride up in the wrong places #cameltoe or gather in the wrong places (making me look pregnant- nice), however this one is a dream with its boned upper half and flowing culottes. Very flattering for us curvy ladies. As for the shoes they're a really old pair but I adore them and think the pop touch of green from the clutch and the shoes really add to this otherwise black ensemble.

This swing dress is so versatile and so easy to wear. Dress it up with strappy heels or wear it casually with a leather jacket and boots- it's a dream. As I've mentioned in many a video and post these heels were an absolute steal at £14.99 from ebay!

I love how well this necklace and kimono pair together. Kimonos are big again this summer and easy to chuck on over a dress or cami and jeans for those chillier nights.

You can't go wrong with a simple bandeau and skater skirt. I've had this outfit for a good while but it still looks nice so why not? The Viv sandals I've lived and died in for almost four years now and they're still going strong!

Hello lovelies. Today's outfit is one of my current favourites and a really easy go-to outfit for some comfy style.

I'm rather aware that this outfit is almost head to toe Primark but I've been really impresed with their summer pieces this year! Maxi dresses are so comfy and easy to wear on hot summer days and the tie dye print gives it more of a grungy feel which I love.

Outfit of the Day: What up shortie

My god is it windy in Cyprus today! It's actually infuriating trying to photograph an outfit with your hair blowing in all directions and your shorts blowing at unattractive angles (see first pic below!)

I featured these shorts in my recent Primark haul and they have quickly become a firm favourite in my wardrobe as they're so versatile! I've styled them for more of an evening look here which I think they look great for! They're super light weight which is great for the heat so can easily be worn to the beach or days out. As they're high waisted I thought I'd brave the mid riff being on show and opted for this simple crop top from New look. I think it's a really cute pairing, that and the chunky statement necklace to give it an edgy feel and again evening look. These flatforms are super comfy so perfect for hot summer nights dancing. And for once I'm not wearing my hair like a big long mop (which usually I love). It's too darn hot and windy! I'm loving braids right now and think a fishtail looks so pretty for day or night.
