Barcelona City Break- What I Wore

So if you're a regular reader of my blog you may already know that I recently went to Barcelona with boyfrined Chris for a four day break :-).

Whilst I was there I did some outfit posts! I tried to pack light...ha!

Day 1

Dress- Primark
Sandals- Vivienne Westwood
Bag- Vintage Emporium
Belt- Primark
Bracelet- Pandora Style
Sunglasses- Ray Ban

Day one we got to Barcelona at around midday and seeing as the weather was chilly back home I'd wrapped up so couldn't wait to get changed! The weather was 20ish and I went for a simple dress to chuck on and get sight seeing in! My viv sandals were so comfy too which I found surprising seeing as they're plastic!

Day 2

 Dress- ASOS
Jacket- eBay
Scarf- H&M
Sandals- Parisian flee market
Bracelets- homemade
Necklace- Topshop & Chris's
Cardigan- Tesco
Sunglasses- Ray Bans

Day two was a little chillier so I chucked on a cardi and threw my faux leather jacket and scarf into Chris's rucksack. We went up Mount Tibidabo to see the view of the city which was breath taking! At the very top of the mountain it was pretty freezing, being so high up there were vlouds and mist swirling around us so I was thankful of the extra layers! I love this dress, it's so easy to chuck on and seriously comfy with a grungy edge to it. Loooove! And the tassled sandals were an absolute steal which I picked up a few years ago in Paris. Can't say they were as comfy as my viv sandals though :-(.

Day 2 Evening!

   Dress- New Look
Sandals- Vivienne Westwood
Bag - TK Maxx
Bracelets- Homemade & eBay
Cardigan- George
Jacket- eBay
Sunglasses- Primark
Necklace- Republic
Ring- Primark

You may have seen this outfit before in a previous post  worn for more of an evening look but I love wearing this for a casual styling too. Again I threw my leather jacket and a cardi in a bag for the evening and donned my aztec style nails once again. We found the most amazing tapas bar in the city- see my vlog video for more info! Champagne on tap and good food- what more could you want!?

Day 3

Well today I didn't do a day outfit post as I was seeing the city on an open top bus and just looked rather wind swept! I got pretty chilly from being on the bus so stopped for a coffee. I even stole Chris's hoody I was that chilly ^_^.

 Day 3 Evening!

 Top- Rihanna for River Island
Blazer- Primark
Jeans- New Look
Sandals- Vivienne Westwood
Necklace- Republic
Ring- H&M
Watch- Casio
Bracelet- homemade

So on this particular night Chris and I were celebrating our 9 month anniversary and as we were away we decided to make a night of it and go for a nice meal :-). I fancied wearing a pop of colour whilst trying to keep my outfit tailored with the jacket. I'm loving black white and yellow together at the moment! If it weren't for the masses of walking around the city I'd have worn heels but practicality won this time. As for the top being a Rihanna for River Island top- well I simply bought it because I loved the colour and the fit! Excuse the stoned expression on my face in the first two photos, I'm not good with the flash >.<

 Day 4

Bracelets- Homemade, H&M & Pandora style
Scarf- Primark
T-shirts- Primark & hand me down (pink vest)
Jeggings- H&M
Pumps- Topshop
Bag- TK Maxx
Ring- Dixi

Day four was our final day. We flew at 10pm so I had to layer up for the cold back home and also it decided to chuck it down on our last day! This turned out to be a great excuse to go shopping although Chris was the one buying clothes whilst I helped him pick! It's not like me to steer clear of purchases! I love the colours of the bracelets, scarf and t-shirt layering altogether, giving a spring feel but also being cosy. I still love pastel shades after last year. This was a great outfit for sight seeing and keeping warm!

So there we have it- my outfits for barcelona! I also did a video on my outfits and a mini vlog with Chris which shows you some of the places we visited whilst we were there! I'd highly reccomend Barcelona for a city break. The food was tasty, the architectue is breath taking and the atmosphere in the streets and markets is great too!
