Well hello! Fancy seeing you here.

I'm trying to get back into the YouTube game right now but it's been a struggle. I want to start filming more videos for mid to late twenty year old women like myself s expect to see some changes. I'll still being doing hauls when I'm not saving like crazy for a house and there will still be some stupid challenge videos but I'd like to talk about other topics too.

In the meantime I thought I'd break the ice by doing the autumn tag.

The Summer TAG

The Summer Tag

A couple of weeks ago I was tagged by the lovely Lucy from "From Lucy With Love" to do the "Summer Tag." Hope you enjoy!

What is your favourite thing about summer?Being outdoors! I love being outside, having BBQs and Pimms with good friends and family or taking the dog for walks (soon to be in the countryside when we move back). You just can't beat it.

Do you have a favourite summer drink?In case you've not guessed it from the first question it has to be hands down Pimms. It's so delicious with chopped up strawberries, cucumber, mint and apple and to me it's summer in a glass. Yum!

Is there a location that you prefer to go in the summer?I my favourite place to go is a little village near Cambridge called Granchester and there they have a place called The Orchard which fro the title is and orchard with a tea room and deck chairs all around. It's so beautiful and such a hidden gem. Behind it are meadows too with a river. It truly is a blissful place to go on a summers day!

Favourite makeup look for summer?For me I like bronzed but minimal make-up look for summer. Anything too heavy just looks a bit much and with the heat can go a bit melty!

Dresses or skirts?I live in dresses all year round pretty much so that's an easy one for me- dresses every time. They're just so easy to wear and throw, especially sun dresses which I live in religiously in Cyprus!

Sandals or ballet pumps?This is all dependant on the weather really as British summers can be a bit hit and miss! I prefer sandals, particularly my Vivienne Westwood sandals as I always get compliments on how cool they look (see here)

Hair up or down in summer?

I much prefer my how down in any scenario but in summer I like to go with a side parting and braid the front of my hair so it's off my face a little. I hate feeling hot and sticky with hair plastered to my face- that's never pretty!

Smokey eyes or bold lips?
Smokey eyes every time for me. I don't have the confidence to pull off a bold lip plus it's more high maintenance than a smokey eye which can look better when it's worn in for more of a grugey hippy style!

Favourite perfume for summer?
I'm currently loving the body shop Eau de toilette Honeymania  as it's got a really rich floral scent with honey accents and is the perfect scent for summer. (I will never be good at this perfume describing malarky but I'm trying!)

Favourite summer music?
It all depends on my mood really and what I'm doing but for a chilled evening in the garden and a glass of wine in hand it'd be some Zero 7. Their music is perfect for chiling to, that or the Musical Hot Water Bottle podcast by Annie Mac, that's a god send. But if I'm going out with friends or something it'll be whatever summery tunes are in the charts generally. Ooh or LEN "Steal My Sunshine" :-D

Thank god spring is finally here yay! A few weeks ago the lovely Eimear from Labels & Lipsticks nominated me for the Liebster Award! I was dead chuffed ^_^. I've finally got around to doing it after being away so here we have it.

1- When I was younger I used to call hair bands "pritties"
2- I am a complete neat freak and hygiene freak, anything out of place or dirty upsets me massively!
3- I eat left handed but do everything else i.e write right handed
4- I wish I could fly!
5- I hate marmite and sweet and sour sauce
6- My favourite tipple is a glass of Rosé
7- I did a bungee jump from 160ft last year.
8- I have swam with dolphins and sharks
9- I'm petrified of spiders, they make me scream and dance bizarrely!

1. Who is your style icon?
Hmm... I'd say it's a cross between the Olsen twins (they're so gorgeous!) or Sarah Jessica Parker, mainly from the sex and the city days.
2. What is your favourite part of your make-up routine?
I really like doing my eyebrows? I don't feel complete without them now! Love full brows as opposed to tadpoles some people shape theirs to!
3. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Sensations Thai sweet chilli- they're so mor ish!
4. How do you imagine your life to be in 20 years?
Well in twent years I'll be 44... So I'd like to think I'll have gotten married, with se children, a nice house in the country and doing well in my career! Oh and a little doggy ^_^
5. If you had to live on another planet, which one would you choose? Hmm... Saturn? Just because it looks cool lol
6. What advice would you give to your teenage self?
I'd tell myself to be more outgoing and not to care so much what other people think of you.
7. Do you wear socks in bed, or does it drive you crazy?
If I'm absolutely freezing I do but on a whole it drives me mad!
8. What is your biggest pet peeve? People biting or picking their nails! Gross!!
9. Do you have any insecurities, if so what are they?
I used to be very paranoid of my teeth as they weren't straight but thankfully they're being fixed with my braces!
10. Name something beauty related you're terrible at.
Applying false eyelashes! I get glue everywhere and it just ends up in a gloppy mess all over my eyelids and then my mascara runs and if I actually manage to get them on, they start to hang off and end up lolling in front of my eyeballs by the end of the night. Attractive!
11. What is your favourite high street shop?
Topshop- it's my Mecca!

The Boyfriend Tag & Giveaway reminder

I've ummed and arred about whether or not to do the Boyfriend TAG video on YouTube for a while but a few weeks ago me and the fella finally filmed it. I'm quite pleased with the way it came out and he's quite good on camera I must say! If you wanna check it out, click below ^_^

Katherine although most people call me Kat. The only time I really get called Katherine is if I'm in trouble or by my mummy!

How old are you and when's your Birthday?
I'm 24, my birthday is 21st December. I'm a Christmas baby! 25 this year eek!

Where do you come from?
I'm an Essex girl originally, both my parents are from there but we moved to Cambridgeshire when I was 8 so I've lost the accent.

What's your current occupation?
I'm a student orthodontic dental technician, so I make appliances to move people's teeth ^_^. I finish my degree this year whoop!

What are your plans for the future?
To qualify and finish uni, then move in with my boyfriend. I've never lived with a boy before, exciting stuff :-).

 Positive happy people doing something they love and being proud of it too. It makes me want to better myself.

Favourite icon, dead or alive?
Lisa Eldridge! I know if may sound odd and perhaps she's not an icon to most people but she's a world renowned makeup artist who's worked with many many a-list celebrities and is so talented. I find her very inspiring :-).

A cat (although in real life I'm actually allergic), I love having my hair stroked so I'm sure I'd like to be petted all day and pad around as and when I feel like it.
