How I style: Simple Lace Dress

I've been wanting to do this styling for ages but never seem to have the time or I've been ill which is annoying. But anyway I've finally done it!

For me, a cream lace dress is a simple statement piece and can be worn in any season. It's also very versatile as it can be dressed up or worn casually which is why I love it. The dress I have styled is from H&M priced £29.99.

 Outfit 1- Casual Day Outfit

 Cardi- Primark
 Belt- Primark
Bag- vintage
Boots- Primark
Tights- Tesco
Watch- Casio
Bracelets- made by me!

I think this makes a cute simple day outfit which can be worn in the winter months with a coat or as it is on a spring day.

 Outfit 2- Girly Glam

  Heels- New Look
Collar- Primark
Tights- Tesco
Jacket- H&M
Bracelets- Thomas Sabo & vintage
Ring- Topshop

This is a look I'd wear out for an evening with my girlfriends or a meal. The collar, jacket and heels give it a girly evening feel.

Outfit 3- Girly Grunge

Leather jacket- Allsaints
Belt- Primark
Tights- Tesco
Spike bracelet- eBay
Crosses bracelet- made by me!
Watch- Casio
Rings- H&M, Topshop
Pumps- Topshop
Bag- TK Maxx
 Hat- eBay
This is my favourite out of the four outfits. I love the studs and leather mixed with the girly lace, giving it a harder edgy look. This outfit in itself could be simply dressed up with a pair of heels thrown on.
Outfit 4- Summer Day

Shirt- Tesco
Sandals- ASOS
Necklace- Primark
Hat- Topman
Rings- Primark
I'd wear this outfit for a casual day in the summer. The denim gives it a laid back feel teamed with the flat sandals and hat.

Chilly shopping

Today I've been shopping yet again (I'll put my purchases into another post) and needless to say it was a bit chilly! As you may have noticed I decided to keep the tea dress from Primark in the end, not as frumpy looking as I thought! And wearing my lovely coat I nabbed in the sale! I felt like wearing my bowler hat instead of a wooly hat and it was surprisingly warm! My chelsea boots are frigging amazing, so so comfy and warm- Clarks have definitely gone up in my estimations!

Coat- River Island
Dress- Primark
Boots- Clarks
Tights- Tesco
Bag- TK Maxx
Jewellery- H&M, Casio and birthday gifts

Just a quick post! Hope you're all having a good week ^_^

Primark Haul

So as the title states, I've been to Primark! I've not gone too mad, just got some bits and pieces for the beginning of Spring and Summer, that's if it ever appears! Snow in March!? It's not cool!

Leather style backpack- £12
Pastel pashmina scarf- £4
Pyjamas- £10 a set roughly? (I can't remember the price, took the tags off!)

I picked up this lace and chiffon dress which I think will be a great piece for spring summer as it looks great with everything! I've actually bought this to replace an existing lace dress which shrunk in the wash...Not impressed to say the least but this one has a chiffon skirt so hopefully the length won't shrink and it was £15 which I think is good value!

Next I picked up this midi dress. I'm loving the midi look at the moment and thought this would be a great versatile piece which can transition from warm spring days to hot summery days. The colour is easy to pair and makes a change from black and at £7 it was a total steal!

I've picked up this dress but I'm not 100% sold on it? I think the print is cute but it's kind of a tea dress style and I'm not sure if it's flattering? I'm debating whether to keep it as I'm worried it looks a bit frumpy and school teacher-ish? But yeah I like the pattern and it was £13 which again is a bargain. I do love the length of it though, it's not too long but long enough so that you're not concerned about your behind being on show if you wore it without tights! I also thought it's again versatile as it can be worn with tights for a chillier day or bare legs if the weather permits!

Now the next item is something I'm a little bit in love with and a huge trend for SS13. Dungarees! They take me straight back to childhood haha. I think these will look great with a plain white tee and some espadrilles or some tights and chelsea boots. I'm totally loving this trend and for £12 they're a good price!

To go with my little dungarees I've picked up this tee. They're around everywhere at the moment but I mainly love the colour. It's just so cute and a perfect spring colour! I also think this t-shirt will look great with some skinny jeans and converse. £4 = bargain ^_^

This accessorie caught my eye first because of the pattern, I'm loving the aztec pattern this year and secondly because it's novel to me! What a great idea for your handbag. I'm forever loosing things within the depths of my bag or on a night out this case would be great for carrying a bit of money, some cards and your phone knowing it's protected too. I've seen others in various shops but at £4 I just had to!

So there we are, that's what I bought! I haven't gone into detail on the pjs or the backpack as they're pretty self explanatory. There's loads of great bits for spring summer in Primark at the moment and all for cheap of course ^_^.

To check out my haul in a video watch this!

Ralph Lauren Romance Eau De Parfum & Body Moisturiser

Bonjour people. Today I'm reviewing my favourite perfume in the whole wide world- Ralph Lauren Romance. I've never written a review on perfume before so I'm not sure how this'll go down, but here goes nothing...

I've had a major love affair with this perfume for a number of years now. I absolutely love it! I can instantly tell if somebody's wearing it, the scent has stayed with me and to me it's rather unique. The scent is gorgeous, and the only way I can describe it really is it's like..kind of like a sweet musky scent thats quite crisp? And maybe slightly floraly but not in a sickly sweet way?... Oh jesus thats a horrendous description. I'm making it sound like a bad wine! Not my intention... anyway it's bloody lovely, you only need a small amount and it lasts all day which is great. I only tend to wear it for special occasions so I won't use it up too quickly as I'm so fond of it or I'll wear it on a day where I need a bit of a pick me up to make me feel good about myself. I don't know why it does that, I guess the smell makes me feel good because I like it? Lol! Anyway getting back to the review, I got the perfume and body lotion as a gift set for Christmas from my lovely mummy. I've not tried the body lotion before and recently put it on along with the perfume. I wouldn't say the body lotion is all that moisturising but is very perfumed and again lasts all day which is great along side the perfume. You could in fact wear the body lotion on it's own but I prefer to use both together. You get quite a lot of the body lotion too, so it'll last a long time alongside the fragrance. I prefer to use the body lotion and perfume in conjunction for an evening as I feel it's a bit overwhelming for the day and perhaps wouldn't recommend it to people who have sensitive skin as it is very perfumed. I think this scent is great for spring summer and I would highly recommend it to everybody. To me it's a classic perfume and that'll never go out of fashion.

I hope this review wasn't too shite and potentially helpful to some people!

Aztec Midi Dress

Hey guys, I finally have a proper outfit post for you! I'm finally feeling better and have plans to see the girlies for drinks tonight!

 Dress- New Look
Jacket- All Saints
Clutch- Ark
Wedges- New Look
Spike bracelet- eBay
Crosses & skull bracelets- made by me ^_^
Ring- Primark
Necklace- Republic

I recently picked up this midi dress from New Look for £14.99- STEAL! On top of that I got student discount which is even better. I think this is a great versatile piece and great for SS13, tying in with the monochrome and aztec trend for this season. This is the first midi piece I've bought and I think it's the beginning of more midi purchases... I love the fit- it's comfy and flattering and it's refreshing to wear something thats neither short or maxi. The print is great as I can dress it up or down. I'm thinking of layering it with a yellow tee for a day look with converse or tassled sandles and bright red ray bans. I've tried to do a bit of the old nail art as you can see, (I'm no expert, but it's pretty fun ^_^) as I'm loving nail art looks at the moment. I don't know it incorporating the dress and my jewellery colours was too much though? Hmm.. And my clutch- yes I know it doesn't match and clashes with the blue but I quite like that. I've opted for wedges tonight instead of killer heels mainly because I feel crap and teamed it with my trusty Allsaints jacket- I think they give it a more casual night vibe.

If you want to check out the video for this look, click below!

So there we have it, I hope you like the look. If I don't blog until next week, have a lovely rest of the weekend ^_^.
