My Summer Look Book

 Hello summer!.....hello? summer? you're here I think?

Todays post is my summer look book! I've not done a look book/ how I style post or video for a few months now and thought this season is the opportune time to do it. Some of my outfits may not be "bang on trend" but they're easy pieces to style.

Outfit 1 variation 1..

I love this Primark bralet so much that I decided to style it in two ways. The first way is with a cream midi skirt which gives it a romantic feel and tan wedges to give it some height. I love these wedges, they're so easy to walk in!

Bralet- Primark
Skirt- thrifted
Belt- Primark
Wedges- River Island
Rings- Primarl & H&M
Sunnies- Primark
Bracelets- various origins

 Outfit 1 Variation 2...

This look is more of a casual day look. The denim skirt is high waisted, showing a tiny bit of mid-riff. Anymore and I'd look shocking. I do love the cropped look this season but I do like to pair it with high waisted things! The cardi and gladiators help give this look a laid back feel.

Cardigan- Primark
Skirt- Topshop
Sandals- ASOS
(all other items thesame as previous outfit above)

 Outfit 2

This outfit reminds me of festivals (which I love). I'm a sucker for these vintage Levi shorts, a great piece for many seasons and each year! The little bandeau I recently bought to tie in with the aztec theme for this summer but fancied something a bit different and not so typical of the pattern. The colours really make this outfit "pop". The sandals I picked up at a Parisian flea market years ago and they're still going strong!

Shorts- Vintage Levis
Bandeau- H&M
Sandals- flea market
Belt- Cow
Bracelets- homemade & H&M
Rings- vintage & eBay
Sunnies- Ray Bans

Outfit 3

Again referencing the aztec theme for this summer and oh look another cropped number! The skirt is very stretchy and elasticated, lovely and comfy and also cool for a hot summers day. You can't go wrong with a maxi skirt for summer, they're effortless and I love them! The crop top was a steal too at £4.99! Bargain.

Jacket- AllSaints
Crop top- New Look
Maxi Skirt- New Look
Belt- New Look
Rings- Topshop & H&M
Aviators- Ray Bans
Sandals- Vivienne Westwood
Bracelets- H&M, home made and birthday present

 Outfit 4

This outfit may not be on trend for this season so much but I fell in love with this dress a couple weeks back. It caught my eye in a charity shop front window! Of all the places! I just love the floral design, it reminds me of the American Apparel design. I do love a sun dress. Easy to chuck on and flattering all without really trying. I've paired it with a red cardi and I personally like that it's clashing. A pair of ballet flats to keep in with the girly theme and there you have it.

Sunnies- Primark
Dress- Charity shop
Ballet pumps- Topshop
Cardigan- Primark
Ring- Topshop
Bracelet- a present

 Outfit 5

Another sun dress... I know I know but it's a different pattern! Leopard print is easy to wear any season in my opinion. The leather jacket gives it a grunge feel which I love and the wedges make it versatile for a day or night occasion. I love the cut of this dress and the material is quite thin- great for a boiling hot day or for dancing your socks off!

Dress- H&M
Jacket- AllSaints
Wedges- River Island
Aviators- Ray Ban
Bracelets- home made & H&M
Ring- Topshop

So that's my summer look book! I hope you like it ^_^, let me know what you think and what pieces you're styling for this summer! If you want to see my look book come to life, check out my YouTube video below!

I'm so glad to be back in the swing of things with blogging, didn't realise quite how much I'd missed it!
